What happens here
The garden is a place of sanctuary for Arc staff and a place for more than 75 individuals with developmental disabilities to experience the healing power of nature. The surrounding business park bustles, especially at midday when large numbers of people are out walking, and the Arc invites them in.

The first one inside a business park.

The Need
This is the first space Nature Sacred helped create inside a large business park location, an environment that bustles with activity rather than offering any natural pause.

The Vision
The Arc saw the garden as an opportunity to invite the public to take pause, and at the same time to foster a stronger relationship between the public and the individuals who attend its program. That double purpose shaped how open the space had to be.

The Transformation
Built across three phases, the Sensory Garden now carries signage explaining itself to the surrounding community, with a path leading in from the main pedestrian sidewalk.
