What happens here
The outdoor spaces work as a clubhouse for kids, offering a place to learn about the environment, connect with the land and water, and sit out a bad day. The organization is always evolving as it thinks of new programs, and its uses of the grounds emphasize multifunctionality, circular systems, and multisensory experience.
HOW IT CAME TO BE
A home away from home.
01
The Need
Minary's Dream Alliance works with youth affected by or diagnosed with opioid use disorder, and with their families, across Caroline, Kent, and Dorchester Counties. Reaching those young people means handling the logistics, transportation, and coordination that would otherwise keep them away.
02
The Vision
To give those youth a safe and peaceful home away from home, and a space where they can connect with the outdoors.
03
The Transformation
Come back soon. [Placeholder per 19 Aug call.]
