What happens here
The Center is used by many diverse groups for meetings, seminars, and conferences. The space beckons people from all walks of life — young and old, men, women, and children of many ethnic backgrounds and faith traditions.
HOW IT CAME TO BE
A Sacred Grove.

The Need
A retreat and conference centre serving many different groups needed ground that would hold silence for all of them.

The Vision
The area is treated as a Sacred Grove and considered a place of silence, reflection, restoration, and discernment.

The Transformation
The labyrinth is the focal point of a one-acre Sacred Place surrounded by tall trees, plants, flowers, and meditation benches. Its design is based on the eleven-circuit labyrinth on the floor of the Cathedral of Chartres.
