The Need
Baltimore Clayworks exists to develop, sustain, and promote an artist-centred community providing artistic, educational, and collaborative programs in ceramic arts.

The Vision
The Nurturing Nature Outdoor Community Space is described as an integral part of the campus rather than an amenity beside it, and the work in it was made by the people who work in the studios.

The space holds sky-reaching plants and flowers, ceramic sculptures, and a clay fountain created collaboratively by resident artists.
