HOW IT CAME TO BE

One mile west of the mall.

01

The Need

This 500-acre passive recreational facility sits one mile west of the Annapolis Mall and is one of the few open-space resources in the area.

02

The Vision

The Sacred Place was placed on a secluded lake overlook, which is what creates the quiet, contemplative environment.

03

The Transformation

From the overlook, the only views and sounds are of the nature surrounding the space.

From the Little Yellow Journal

Muddy ground squishing beneath my feet. The sun shining high above the clouds. Touching my soft warm skin. Making me feel full of joy.
