HOW IT CAME TO BE

The other parks are for running around.

01

The Need

The park's layout has already been set but needs revitalization. Other parks in the area are used for active recreation, leaving nowhere in Midway for a quieter kind of respite.

02

The Vision

This will be a beautification site for emotional healing, offering a different sort of respite from the active parks nearby, and once complete a welcoming gateway to the Midway community. O'Hara Development Partners focuses not only on economic tools to strengthen communities and reduce blight but also on managing greenspace to increase functional outdoor space. They will engage partners including Mother Seton Academy and Morgan State University on the design and future programming.
