HOW IT CAME TO BE

A model for every street-end park in the city.

01

The Need

The street-end park, often known as Leon Wolfe Park, was in dire need of updated design and renovation. Run-off and trash were polluting Spa Creek.

02

The Vision

The site was to be both a quiet place for contemplation and an environmentally proactive rain garden, offered as a model for all Annapolis street-end parks.

03

The Transformation

Plants were chosen to capture and filter the run-off and trash polluting Spa Creek. A historical accent marks the site's past as the location of the original bridge connecting Eastport and Annapolis.
