HOW IT CAME TO BE
It started as a parking problem.
01
The Need
Pacific Park originated as a response to the community's long-term planning for residential parking needs and for securing powerlines from overgrowth. The site is a large greenspace enclosed by homes, which makes it effectively a shared backyard for all the residents whose houses border it.
02
The Vision
The design will preserve that large green space rather than subdivide it, establishing a strong edge through fencing, designated parking areas, and tree lines, so the parking need is met without consuming the green.
