What happens here
The Family Center provides therapy to children and families, with a particular focus on play therapy and other creative modalities. The wider department provides community outreach and family counselling, and supports seniors with advocacy, navigation of government entitlement programs, emotional support, social engagement, and limited transportation.

The Need
Staff have put a great deal of effort into making the building's interior relaxing and welcoming. The exterior does not match it.

The Vision
The aim is a makeover so the outside matches the inside — not only a creative, safe space for children and families visiting for other programming, but a working garden where therapists can hold sessions with clients, bringing nature into the healing work itself.
