HOW IT CAME TO BE

People don't know the park is open.

01

The Need

Visitors approaching the PeacePark from the west get no signal that it exists or that they are welcome in it. The intersection is also exposed to the road, and most of the park is too steep for anyone with limited mobility.

02

The Vision

Boswell Gateway is one of the five nodes identified through the engagement process, intended as a second welcome point. A wall with signage at the intersection would greet visitors and tell people the PeacePark is open and available to them. This is to be one of the few accessible locations within the park.
